You can prepare all the paperwork from your home countries or even acquire assistance from your embassies, especially applicable to most Muslim countries wherein there are additional documents or approval needed from their embassies. Once you have obtained the necessary paperwork, then it will be smooth process. Once Nikah done, then legalization will be completed at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Some embassies may require this document to be authenticated and certified to be recognized abroad. Speak with a lawyer in Thailand to avoid delay on the said process.

Marriage Ceremony location and venue: For Muslim marriage, many always have wanted to do it in a Mosque, however, it will still take place in the location where there is a mosque, but the ceremony is being performed with the Imam in the Office of the Islamic Council in Thailand. The officiating official will perform the ceremony with other witnesses on the said venue.

Translation of Documents: Once marriage done at the Islamic Council, you may have the option to have it translated in both English and Arabic language. There is only one authorized office who can do so, which is located there and you would need to get your marriage certificate translated to the language of your country back home. This will then be ready for legalization process.
